From a Single Keypress to KLAWOS
KLAWOS didn’t start in a boardroom; it started on a cluttered workbench fueled by curiosity. As an engineering enthusiast, I’ve always been obsessed with how things work—building, researching, and constantly tinkering with "what if."
One day, I discovered the world of custom keyboards. Armed with an ATmega controller and a vision, I began prototyping. I’ll never forget the magic of that first moment: pressing a hand-wired button and watching a single letter appear on my screen. What started as a personal project—a custom PCB built just for my own desk—quickly took on a life of its own. When I shared my prototype on Reddit, the community's response was overwhelming. "Where can I get one?" was the question that changed everything.
That was the spark. After months of refining, iterating, and perfecting the hardware, KLAWOS was born. Today, I’m proud to share these tools with fellow creators, gamers, and enthusiasts. We’re just getting started, and I’m excited to see where we go from here.
